Using the App to Check Your Unit

How to connect to the App:

Connecting the unit to the Optiweigh app doesn't require phone service. 

1. Download the Optiweigh app and open on your mobile phone.

2. The first page that opens will look like this. Click on unit maintenance.

3. To connect your phone to the unit, click on 'Connect to Optiweigh WiFi network'. This will direct you to your phone settings wifi. The name of the wifi numbers will match the serial number of your unit. e.g. Optiweigh500. Once you see the light blue box you are connected.

  

NOTE: If you are having trouble connecting go to settings on your phone for 'Mobile' and set 'Mobile Data' to OFF.  The close the app and start again. 

4. Go back to the Optiweigh app and click on check unit. The numbers should look something like this if it is connected properly. 

  

What are you seeing:

1. Current weight: This should be your actual weight and should be stable. For further information on checking that your unit is weighing properly click HERE
2. Tag: If you wave a tag in front of the reader it should show up here. For further information on checking tag readers click HERE
3. Comms & power information: This is used to help diagnose possible connection issues. For further information click HERE
